Rusty Crusty — On the Road Again

“Baby, if you’ve ever wondered, wondered whatever became of me… I’m [spending time with fam in Cincinnati…] Cincinnati, WKRP. Got kinda tired of packin' and unpackin'; town to town, up and down the dial…”

My sabbatical took me to Cincinnati to visit my son. He said, “find a bike, we need to ride.” Ummm… ok… My motorcycle is still in Denver… So, what to do?!?!

I found some old rusty crusty… 23 years old, with 103k miles on the clock. She is not a pretty motorcycle; not entirely trustworthy either. Mose and I have been riding together for the past week; what a joy! I love this bike.

The autumn colors are amazing. The air is crisp as the days become shorter.

I’m getting the itch; the road is calling me. The American South is beckoning. Today, I crossed the Mason-Dixon line. Tonight, I find myself in Knoxville, Tennessee.

“On the road again. Goin' places that I've never been. Seein' things that I may never see again. And I can't wait to get on the road again.”
